Intro

Ruth’s floristry work is rooted in the classic elegance of Constance Spry, along with Pulbrook and Gould, who were co-founded by Rosamund Gould, a florist who trained with the legendary Constance Spry.

Here, skill, form, and beauty come together to create designs that are as timeless as they are striking. From abundant bouquets to delicate buttonholes, every piece is crafted to suit your style and your day perfectly.

Here is a stunning gallery of Ruth’s Elopement Buttonhole, Bouquets and Tablescapes.

ā€œEvery wedding is unique, and so are the flowers. I love combining fresh and faux blooms so couples can have the exact look they want for their bouquet and tablescapes, regardless of the season.ā€

Why Ruth’s flowers matter so much when couples elope

When couples choose to elope, every detail carries more weight, especially the flowers. With no round or long guest tables, and no huge wedding party, the bouquets and buttonholes become one of the most significant pieces of the entire day. It sets the tone, the colour story and the emotion from the moment you are photography ready.

This is exactly why Ruth from House of Mimi Fleur is such an important part of eloping with us. She understands that small weddings aren’t ā€œlessā€; they’re more focused, more intimate, and far more personal. Many of our couples tell us that they feel a little overwhelmed at the thought of choosing flowers, but Ruth takes your Pinterest Board, looks at what’s in season, the feel of the venue, and then designs something that feels effortless and authentic. Her bouquets, buttonholes and arrangements never disappoint. Because elopements take place in atmospheric venues like Allington Castle Bilsington Priory, and Castle Westenhanger etc, Ruth’s style fits perfectly. She works with natural textures, soft movement and garden-inspired shapes that look like they belong there.

Our couples regularly tell us that the flowers were one of their favourite parts of the day, the bouquet they didn’t want to put down, the buttonhole that matched the bouquet perfectly, the small arrangements that transformed the ceremony room. In an elopement, those thoughtful touches make the celebration feel complete.

Ruth’s work brings warmth, beauty and atmosphere to tiny weddings. She doesn’t just add flowers; she brings the feeling, and that’s why her role is so central to the way team E-Lope creates your day.

Signature style:

  • Designs inspired by the Constant Fry School of Floristry
  • Elegant arrangements with attention to detail and balance
  • Loves big blousey blooms
  • Blending fresh and faux flowers for out-of-season looks
