HOW E-LOPE BEGAN
E-Lope was founded during the pandemic when traditional weddings faced unprecedented challenges. As wedding professionals found themselves without work and couples searched for alternative options, Team E-Lope rose to the occasion. By adhering to meticulous risk assessments (Sam’s previous experiences at English Heritage, the Imperial War Museum and the National Gallery helped), we facilitated intimate ceremonies, from elopements for two to petite weddings of up to ten guests.

Allington Castle: A fairy tale castle in Maidstone that is one of the best kept secrets.
Bilsington Priory: A historic setting perfect for romantic micro weddings. This is the home of E-Lope, surrounded by horses and stunning views. It’s across the Romney Marsh and out to sea.
The Gardens of Yalding; The Gardens of Yalding offer a rustic, romantic escape — winding paths, historic planting and charming countryside spaces perfect for intimate celebrations.
Port Lympne Wild Animal Park An incredible venue for a luxury wedding, that includes a unique Moroccan Courtyard, safair and its where Sam used to work.
The Castle Westenhanger: A breathtaking castle setting that offers grandeur on a petite scale. This is where our elopement story began.
The Cave Hotel: An adventurous location ideal for couples seeking something truly unique. Perfect for those who love golf and food!
The Lost Village of Dode: A mystical and intimate spot for couples looking to elope where no one would find them.
Wadhurst Castle: Elegant and charming, perfect for an intimate wedding with close family and friends. Because of this, the castle is only open during the summer, so dates go fast!
Pricing
Each venue has a different pricing structure. Our best value venue is Bilsington Priory, as that is our home, along with the Castle Westenhanger, where it all began.

We offer three packages and a bespoke option. All venues offer the Drive-Through and the Romantic Brunch Packages, some offer the Twilight Elopement Packages and Allington Castle enables you to book a private chef!

THE ELOPEMENT
WEDDING PACKAGES WITH A WOW FACTOR
Our all-inclusive elopement packages include a specialist elopement photographer who will capture the romantic and beautiful aspects of your intimate day or twilight wedding.
In addition, your all-inclusive elopement packages include on-site coordination during the day, personalised decor, a handcrafted wedding cake (unless it’s a drive-through package), a beautiful bouquet and buttonhole, ceremony chairs and reception set-up, Champagne, and a handmade traditional afternoon tea or sharing boards with all dietary requirements catered for.
Celebrations usually last about three hours at one of the E-Lopement handpicked exclusive-use wedding venues in Kent, East Sussex and Jersey.
Team E-Lope will be on hand to lead all communications and coordinate your unique elopement micro-wedding day. We will handle all the nitty-gritty details and creative embellishments. We will also set up your ceremony and private dining area to create a seamless, authentic ceremony and wedding breakfast with lashings of WOW factor, all about you two!
If you travel from outside the UK, team E-lope will strip away the pressure and anxiety associated with travelling abroad. They will also support you with the legal aspects of your small wedding, and if the venue doesn’t include any on-site accommodation, we will help you find something wonderful nearby.
The E-lope Collective wants you both to have a fabulous wedding experience with elements that reflect your unique partnership. The E-lope team are here to break ‘the traditional rules’, by helping you create your own and realise your unique wedding.
