For couples planning something extra special for their little big day, overlooking the idyllic, lush green, with 167 acres of rolling countryside, now you can book an elegant and relaxing elopement or a tiny micro wedding and add on a round of golf! Booked directly with The Cave Hotel.

Additional guests

The Cave Experience

Licensed ceremonies for two up to ten people can be held inside in a private area, OR, weather permitting, outside, overlooking the beautifully manicured, spacious lawn area, under the purpose-built Gazebo, with the rolling scenic fairway in the background. This is a true draw for eloping couples during the British summertime. Then, if you are opting for the Penthouse Twilight Package, why not stay overnight in The Cave’s super-luxe accommodation?

The 2,700-square-foot Penthouse, available for elopements, offers a unique space overlooking the beautifully maintained, pristine golf course. It’s the go-to place for complete abandon.

You can eat in a private space in the Firepit Restaurant or host an intimate party. Your meals will be cooked in your own Penthouse’s fully equipped kitchen by a personal Cave chef and served in the separate dining area.

The room also includes:

Rainfall shower or a free-standing bathtub

VAT is not applicable in that it is included in any pricing

We require a non-refundable retainer of £ 1,000 to secure your elopement, with the remainder due four weeks prior to the intimate wedding date.

The photographer may require you to sign their own T&Cs, and ideally we would love you to give us all of your gallery or just detail of, for example your feet and hands as this helps us with marketing to other couples like you.

Whether you’re a couple looking to escape the traditional wedding and prioritise a more relaxed and personal tiny union, a ‘mid-day’ elopement at the Cave offers a delightful blend of sophistication and simplicity. A tiny wedding at the Cave enables you to have a mini-moon or buddy-moon with your witnesses.

3:00 PM Arrival
Upon your arrival at our luxurious venue, you will be warmly greeted by the Cave staff and escorted to the stunning Penthouse Suite, where you will begin your wedding preparations.
The Penthouse offers breathtaking views of the golf course, stunning decor, and all the amenities you need to make your special day even more extraordinary.
Take your time to prepare and relax in the comfort of the Penthouse Suite. We understand the importance of this moment, and the Cave’s attentive staff will be available to assist you with any requests or requirements you may have.
3:30 PM Photographer arrives
The specialist elopement photographer arrives just in time to get those last-minute getting-ready shots.
4:00 PM, the ceremony will commence in the enchanting Gazebo, beautifully decorated by team E-Lope to complement your styling. Say your vows surrounded by the serene ambience and the company of your witnesses, closest family and friends.
4:30 PM Photos
Time for your couple shots and a ride in a golf buggy (weather permitting)
5:00 PM Canapés and Champagne
After the heartfelt ceremony, return to the Penthouse to cut the cake
6:30 PM Photographer departs
Firepit tasting Menu Wedding Beakfast
As the evening sets in, you and your two guests will indulge in an unforgettable Firepit Experience Meal with a full tablescape designed by team E-Lope

12:00 Arrival
On the day of your tiny wedding, you and your two guests will be welcomed to the venue. To ensure you have a stress-free and relaxed morning, the Cave team will have arranged a beautifully appointed room for you to get ready in. This allows you to add those final touches and meet the registrars.
12:30 PM Elopement Photographer arrives to capture those last getting-ready details
1:00 PM Ceremony in the Gazebo
The enchanting pergola will be the backdrop for your heartfelt ceremony. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the venue, exchange your vows in the presence of your witnesses, creating cherished memories to last a lifetime.

Please note that following the booking of your petite luxury wedding at the Cave, while we will reserve your tiny wedding with Kent County Council, you will need to pay them directly. Details will follow once you have paid the non-refundable deposit to the E-lopement team.
