āNo words can truly express how incredible the team at Elope have been.
We cannot thank them enough for making our little big day so special, it was more than we could have ever imagined and dreamed of and for that we will forever be grateful.
A special thank you to Sam for always being there whenever we needed it, and for being on hand to make sure our wedding day was perfect.
The whole team are fantastic, the flowers, the cake and the decorations were stunning and we cannot say thank you enough.

An outdoor castle elopement with jubilant, rich, and exotic medieval jewel hues.
We delight in sharing this gorgeous, intimate wedding at The Castle Westenhanger, Kent. The couple’s wedding also commemorates the anniversary of their first meeting. Our couple got together in July 2019, so we shared their wedding day and their anniversary! They are an adventurous couple who love camping, hiking, and climbing, and now they can say they eloping!
The couple
Since getting together in July 2019, Kirstie and Steve have habitually gone for picnics and walks by the lake every day after work. They haven’t spent a single day apart since. They are an adventurous couple who love camping, hiking, climbing, and, now they can say, eloping! Planning a smaller wedding helped Kristie and Steve focus on what was important to them.
Elopement Styling
Team E-Lope was so excited to receive Kirstieās Pinterest Board. It contained images from Australia and the Arizona Desert. Her bold jewel hues mixed with sunflower gold inspired the team. Recognising Kirstie’s fondness for sunflowers, Team E-Lope integrated them into the decor alongside other details from her Pinterest board. Against the backdrop of the Medieval Castle Westenhanger, the team added a modern twist tailored to the couple’s style.
Inspired by Kirstie, the e-lope team crafted a beautiful, romantic outdoor ceremony and alfresco dining experience. The styling bursting with colour and historical undertones under the purpose-built thatched gazebo at The Castle Westenhanger. We believe you’ll agree it was truly magical.

The bride
Kirstie chose a white āLennoxā gown from Wed2B. The dress exuded glamour with a playful boho twist. A modern lace gown featuring a statement train adorned with soft tulle and beautiful lace.
Kirstieās colour scheme extended to her bouquet (included in the elopement package). She also added a gorgeous statement gemstone-coloured floral crown, which looked incredible with her long, luscious, loosely plaited hair.

Hair flower crown and bouquet
Ruth of Mimi Fleur incorporated Purple Larkspurs, Yellow Craspedias, Dahlias, Miss Piggy Roses, Thlaspi Green Bells, Sonja Mini Sunflowers, and Lianne Spray Roses to create Kirstie’s look. As a result, Kirstie’s bouquet was full of abundant colour, ensuring it popped against her bridal dress.

Bridesmaidās Dress
Kirstie chose a strikingly rich, dark emerald green midi and satin slip for her bridesmaid. From ASOS, the jewel tone was perfect when coupled with a richly coloured floral bouquet to match Kristieās.

Groom & Groomsmen Attire
Steve and his best man donned luxe three-piece navy blue suits accessorized with forest green ties from the renowned multi-award-winning retailer Marc Darcy. Brightly coloured buttonholes adorned the suits, perfect for a glorious outdoor summer wedding.

Wedding rings
Martin Wilde Bespoke Jewellers, a small family-run shop in West Malling, designed and made the wedding rings. They also created Kirstieās engagement ring; the couple couldnāt recommend them highly enough!
The ceremony
The ceremony took place outside under the purpose-built thatched gazebo within the castle grounds.Ā Rich jewel-coloured florals adorned the thatched gazebo, always creating the perfect colourful frame for the couple.

The wedding cake
Kirstie and Steveās wedding cake featured four tiers crafted by Serena of Cobi & Coco. The flavours included cookies and cream, white chocolate, and passionfruit. The skilled cake designer, Serena, adorned the white cake with delicate edible lace and meticulously crowned the top tier with a handcrafted sugar paste sunflower. Additionally, a vibrant array of flowers featuring Dahlias and Peonies beautifully complemented Kirstie’s bouquet.

The tablescape
Following the ceremony, Team E-Lope swiftly transformed the gazebo into a unique alfresco dining experience. The couple opted for the ‘Intimate E-Lope Vegetarian’ and ‘Sweet Treat’ menus, meticulously prepared by Touchays, a prestigious Kent-based catering company.
Team E-Lope transported a large, heavy, old wooden oak table from within The Castle. Once outside, they adorned the table with colourful glasses and various coloured napkins, including papal purple, classic blue, emerald green, raspberry red, and sunflower yellow. Bold and vibrant statement candles were added to enhance the hues and infuse an elegant touch.
We believe team E-Lope nailed Kirstie and Steveās regal and romantic elopement. As Stevie Wonder sang as they walked down the aisle, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yoursā.
